of our beach and the Brighstone Downs & forest, ideal for walking and cycling.
Nowhere is to far on the island though:-
Brighstone Village - just under 1 mile. (about 15 minutes walk)
Freshwater - 7 miles away (about 10 minutes drive)
The main town "Newport" is 8 miles away (15 minutes drive)
and to give you an idea Ryde (the other side of the Island) is about 45 minutes drive
and Shanklin is about 25 minutes drive away.
Buses:- summer timetable is normally May to October any dates outside of this time can mean a lot less buses,
so please be warned. (see links for the bus timetables) also the summer timetable dates do move around.
